Read before requesting care

Online consultation has clear limits

A responsible remote service explains when not to use it, what software cannot decide, and why existing medical care must not be stopped without the prescribing doctor.

Emergency now

Chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden weakness, severe bleeding, serious injury, reduced consciousness or another urgent deterioration requires immediate local emergency or hospital care.

Examination needed

Arrange local in-person assessment when physical examination, vital signs, urgent testing or a procedure is needed. Teleconsultation cannot reproduce them.

Remote review may fit

A non-urgent patient in India can request consultation. The doctor confirms suitability after reviewing the available information.

Clinical decisions stay with the doctor

No AI diagnosis or remedy selection

Forms and software may organize information and show safety boundaries. They do not diagnose, counsel, select a medicine or replace the practitioner.

Do not stop prescribed medicines

Do not start, stop or change prescription medicines without speaking to the clinician who prescribed them. Tell the consulting doctor about medicines, supplements, allergies, pregnancy and relevant diagnoses.

No guaranteed result

Response varies and no outcome can be guaranteed. Testimonials describe individual experiences and are not evidence that another patient will have the same result.

Children and dependent adults

An appropriate parent, legal guardian or authorized caregiver must participate. The doctor may require local paediatric, obstetric, psychiatric or other specialist assessment.

Worsening or new symptoms

Report deterioration promptly and seek local care when needed. A previous online consultation does not make every new symptom suitable for remote management.
